The long-awaited return of David Lynch’s cult show arrives later this month with a brand new season. The trailer shows how the fictional town of Twin Peaks has changed (and stayed the same).

The legendary TV drama, which originally aired between 1990-91, will return after 16 years for its third season. Returning in less than a month “Twin Peaks ” will have a two-hour premiere on Showtime on Sunday, May 21. In the run up to the release, the new trailer has given fans a look at some familiar locations from the fictional town of Twin Peaks, including the sheriff’s department, Laura Palmer’s house, the Double R Diner, and more.

It has also been announced who of the original cast will return which includes Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne). Last month, it was announced that two episodes from the new season of Twin Peaks will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, which takes places between 18-28 May in southern France.
